About Jason

Jason and his wife, Stacy, live in the Green Sea community along with their three sons. Stacy is a teacher at Green Sea Floyds Elementary, one son attends Green Sea Floyds High School, and their other two sons attend Green Sea Floyds Middle School. Jason and his family attend Green Sea Baptist Church. Jason's family roots in Horry County date back to the early 1750s. As a husband and father, he understands the importance of safe classrooms and strong leadership.

Jason has served as a volunteer firefighter, EMT, and retired South Carolina State Trooper. He owns a security technology company and has mentored youth as a coach. With your vote, he hopes to continue his life of service representing District 10 on the Horry County School Board.

Jason's Objectives if Elected

  • Continue to be a voice for EVERY student in the district, putting their needs FIRST!
  • Use my public safety background and security technology expertise as tools to assist the district in strengthening the safety and security of our schools for students, faculty, staff, and visitors
  • Ensure that the voices of student families are heard and represented
  • Ensure that the voices of district employees are heard and represented
  • Use my financial experience as a business owner to ensure that taxpayers' money is spent wisely and that the district operates as efficiently as possible
